Early
November saw Gamuda breaking above its 6 months trading range of RM3.30-3.60
following disclosure that Director Dato’ Lin has raised its stake in the
company. This is in contrast to Feb 2008 prior to GE12 where Dato’ Lin
reduced his stake which resulted in Gamuda share price collapse and traded at
PE low of 7.5x. With Dato’ Lin stake increase we don’t see any major collapse
in share price ahead of GE13. Currently Gamuda is trading at FY13 PE of 13x
vs 5 years average of 22x and we believe this is unjustified given its strong
orderbook of RM4.8bn with potentials contracts from Gemas-JB double tracking
job and MRT2 and MRT3. Furthermore, Malaysia will be introducing rulings for
business trust IPOs by next month, which is likely to benefit GAMUDA that
owns water and highway concessions such as LDP, SMART and SPLASH. (TYK)

TRIM

Its
share price has surpassed our trading target of RM2.00 initiated in early Oct
while also achieving a 29% increase in share price from its low of RM1.68 on
25th Sept. We believe this offers an opportunity to take profit as MACD is on
the verge of cutting into negative territory while RSI weakens. Should share
price break below RM2.10, it could retrace to RM2.00 with next support at
RM1.90. Trim ahead of possible election fears.(TYK)
