Recent successful launching of
Nissan Almera where certain reports quoted pre launch sales of 3000 units
which is comparable to total monthly sales of Nissan as a whole could bump up
earnings for APM as Almera commands greater localization of components
reaching 50%. Higher localization allows Nissan to price its vehicles competitively
which could expedite localization by competitors such as Honda City with only
40% sourced locally to prevent cannibalization of market share. APM orders
are also expected to pick up as its supplying integrated systems to VW
commencing in 4Q12. APM is supported by its net cash position of RM367m and
FY12PE ex cash of 6x with dividend yield of 4.5%. Buy
