1)The KLCI opened weaker reaching a low of 1767.50 (-6.04pts) following a negative US market before recovering to close marginally higher in a thinly traded market. Regional market generally saw tepid sentiment after official China PMI came in at 50.1 in June from 50.8 previously. China+0.81% recovered as money market rates continued to fall while investors picked up oversold stocks. CONSUMER index+1.13% outperformed led by BAT +3.19%,NESTLE +2.06%, UMW +1.06%. Market breadth was mixed with losers edging gainers by 386 : 352. Futures closed 1776 (1pts premium)
 
2) Heavyweights : SKPETRO -2.20% RM4.00, DIGI -1.05% RM4.71, MAYBANK -0.39% RM10.36, GENTING -0.58% RM10.38, GENM +2.83% RM4.00, BAT +3.18% RM61.50, HLBANK +2.88% RM14.30, PETGAD +2.37% RM25.90.

4) Situational:-
 
GENM RM4.00 +2.828% - Genting Malaysia has launched its latest addition to the Resorts World brand, namely the Resorts World Bimini in the Bahamas. The brand new Bimini SuperFast, a 32,000-ton cruise ship that will sail the round-trip between Miami and Bimini twice daily. GENM said the project was a partnership between the group and RAV Bahamas Limited, the developer of the resort. It said the launch of the boutique resort and casino in the Bahamas was part of the Group’s growth strategy in the Americas. Resorts World Bimini is located less than 50 nautical miles or two hours away from the city of Miami.
 
5) BHIC
 
The Company wishes to inform that its subsidiary company, BHIC AeroServices Sdn. Bhd. ("BHICAS") has received a Letter dated 26 June 2013 from the Chief Secretary to the Government of Malaysia awarding BHICAS a contract for the Integrated Maintenance and Logistic Support Services for three units of the Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency Dauphin AS365N3 Helicopters at a ceiling contract value of RM65,471,000.00 for a period of 3 years from the date of BHICAS' acceptance of the award. A formal contract between the Government of Malaysia and BHICAS will be signed at a later date.
 
Mobilisation of the RM9bn littoral combat ship (LCS) contract held under Boustead Naval Shipyard remains the key for a re-rating. HOLD
