Sasbadi is a well-established publisher known
for its textbooks and workbooks nationwide but the company is looking to
achieve a higher status as an education solutions service provider by riding
the evolution of digital education. 2015 will be an interesting year for the
group as it plans to expand via more m&a opportunities and will continue
to roll out more creative ways to encourage interactive learning. Group is
currently in a sweet spot as there aren’t many players, barrier to entry is
high and the sector is resilient. Market growth is also organic as education
continue to thrive in our country. Currently group has projected growth of
20~ CAGR for the next 2-3 years. Group is net cash and has been paying 50% of
its profit in dividend which translates to 5% yield. Valuations are
undemanding at only 9x for FY16, 7x for FY17. SMA 100 support seen at RM1.51,
SMA 20 seen at RM1.53. BUY.

Key catalyst for the group is the Hi Speed
Rail to SG which is expected to cost between RM30b-40b. Land Public Transport
Commission (SPAD) pegged 4Q15 as the targeted tender period, suggesting
clearer revelations on the execution plans for HSR over the course of 2015.
Currently group is amongst the cheapest of conglomerates at only 11.8x PE vs
its 7 year average of 12.9x. Group’s 5.7% yield is sustainable supported by
its cashpile. Share price fell 11.2% from its peak a month ago and bringing
the RSI to 34% which is its 2nd lowest point over the last 12
months. Share price cut below the Bollinger band ytd but managed to close
aboveit; forming a doji reversal sign. Trading BUY.
