The KLCI closed lower despite the modestly higher US market that gained after
oil prices stabilized. Regional bourses were slightly stronger led by SHCOMP
which gained 1.94% after tepid inflation data improved odds for more policy
easing, HSI gained +1.22%, HSCEI +1.74% while the NIKKEI -0.15% closed flat. In
the local scene, FINANCIAL -0.58% lost the most grounds weighed by MAYBANK
-1.26%, CIMB -0.96%, PBBANK -0.31% while logistics stocks outperformed led by
TNLOGIS +3.04%, ILB +5.47%, CENTURY +5.09%. Market breadth was neutral with
even gainers and losers at 422 : 403. Futures closed at 1838 (6pts discount).

MRCB
-0.78% RM1.27 - Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd (MRCB) is expected to
launch a mixed development with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of
between RM1.2b and RM1.6b next year. The project will be developed on a
0.8-hectare site acquired from the German Embassy for RM259.2m recently through
tender bidding. MRCB Group Managing Director said the management team was
considering a mixed development comprising commercial and residential segments
due to the land's location and market demand.

Its
wholly-owned subsidiary, Century Software Sdn Bhd has
received two Purchase Orders from Brilliance Information Sdn Bhd
for a contract named “ Financial Accounting System for
Jabatan Kastam Diraja Malaysia for a total sum of RM2.3m
The
tenure of the Contract is for a period of 33 months which
includes 9 months of implementation followed by 2 years of maintenance service
and thereafter, the maintenance service will be renewable on a yearly
basis which have yet to be determined. The commencement of the Contract
will be in April 2015.

Expect increased sales for the GST compliance accounting system upgrade after
its implementation on 1st April.
