Globetronics
– Price has encountered a sharp sell off in the past month after achieving a
new high of RM6.44. The sell down could possibly be related to latest numbers
indicating that a high profile wearable launch in April which saw sales of
35,000 units per day has since dropped to 5000/day. Management however has
not seen any changes in their volume loading for this product. This remains
only a small part of their sensor biz with the main earnings growth driver in
the next few years only coming on stream in Q4 this year. The imaging sensor
is expected to start with vol loadings of 15m units per mth with a target of
30m. Valuations look more attractive now with a forward PE of 14x and yield
of 5.5%.
