more than a mth fm a low of RM6.70 to close to its earlier double top
neckline where it broke down. It has also retraced 71% of its drop from its
hi of RM9.60 to its low at RM6.70. The current foreign buying/short covering
is an opportunity to lighten position especially with most of its main biz
divisions - plantation, autos & heavy equipment/industrial - facing
headwinds in earnings (fm both volume & pricing/margin pressure), and
lofty forward PER of 23.6x vs 5-yr average of 15.4x. Bloomberg's consensus
12-mth target px is only at RM7.74, 12% below the current px. Trim. (PT)

Just completed its rounding saucer bottom at
RM3.46 supported by positive daily technical indicators with possible +ve
divergence. From its top of RM5.06 to its low of RM3.31, the ABC correction
looks to have been completed. Compared to its peers, AFG is a laggard in the
current bounce with attractive valuations for FY3/16 - PER of 9.97x &
p/bk of 1.1x vs 5-yr average of 11.18x & 1.5x respectively. It also pays
a div yield of 4.7%. Accumulate TP: RM3.92. (PT)
