TSH
(RM2.18) – While sentiments for the sector are still weak, this stock has
proved to be one more of the more resilient plantation stocks out among the
lot. Besides that fact that the group has a young plantation profile where
1/3 of its plantation comprises of trees between 4-6 years (mainly Sabah and
Indonesia), the group also has a PPA contract to supply renewable energy to
Sabah electric via its biomass plant for 30 sen per kWh. Recent development
of allowing these RE companies to subscribe to the Feed-in Tariff which would
guarantee RE producers a premium selling price over energy generated from
these biomass plants would eventually benefit group. The new tariff rate is
currently is expected to start application in July. Currently trading at
Price consolidated around the 20SMA level and RSI has been creeping up
slowly. Long term buy. TP. RM2.70

HuaYang
(RM1.81) – We continue to like huayang for its large exposure to affordable
housing in KV, Perak and Johor. Positioned as one of the more prominent
affordable developer with more projects in Desa Pandan, Shah Alam as well as
their next flagship project in Puchong, the group is expected to enjoy
greater market share looking ahead. We also like Huayang for its ability to
purchase land at a lower cost to GDV resulting in a higher gross margin for
the group. Recent purchase for the Puchong land should come thru in these
coming weeks and is said to be only at a cost of 11% of its planned GDV.
Technical chart broke out on Friday after share price formed a reverse head
and shoulder pattern with a potential 30 cents upside from RM1.81. Currently
trading at only 7x PE, with attractive yield of 8%. Strong BUY. TP RM2.10
