Despite recent pick up in trading activity
since GE13, TA has only risen 15% from its low of 50sen level. Overall market
value traded has picked up substantially with May averaging around RM2.8bn
while ytd is close to RM2bn per mth. This is sharply higher compared to last
year which was around RM1.67bn. This is likely to see its Broking division
posting PBT closer to RM50mil. TA’s 64% stake in TAGB is valued at RM1008m
which is on par with its own market cap. This essentially values its Broking
and Credit division which contributes circa 30-40% of overall profit at zero.
Currently trades at JanFY14PE of 7.9x with dividend yield of 5%. We see
limited downside with support at RM0.58. 5 year PE averages 12x. (TYK)

Trading volume picked up in past 2 days
with 6.3mil shares traded yesterday as share price look to retest recent high
of RM2.34 with possibility of breaking above its reverse head and shoulder
pattern. Coastal practices a build and sell model which should be ideal in
the current environment when O&G vessel demand has been on the rise and
raw materials are at its low. Key catalyst and re-rating is expected
should company successfully diversify into O&G either via purchases of
assets such as drilling rigs and FPSO or into offshore structure fabrication
business. Trades at 8xPE versus O&G sector of 15xPE. (TYK)
