Core profits driven by China/Tawau plant supplemented by
resources and property. Future earnings prospects lie with its Laos venture
via the project company for the Don Sahong Hydropower project which MFCB
holds a 80% stake which has just been issued with the Investment Certificate
by the Lao's people Dem Rep. The RM1.5bn 260MW power project is expected to
kick start in the 2H2015 and begin op in 2019 over a 25yr lease. Price has retraced from a year high of 2.64 in Mar slipping to a low
of 2.21 b4 recovering to current levels of 2.35. Historical earning around 26c/shr
with PE 8x undemanding. Trading BUY with immediate target of RM2.80.

CMSB (5.50) – Current year run up has been
partially fuelled by expectations of an impending State election which has to
be called before mid 2016. Those expectations have since died down and the
counter seems to be losing momentum. Nonetheless commissioning of the OMS
plant in the 2H is expected to boost earnings particularly in 2016. Despite
the earnings growth, vvaluation looks to have factored in
immediate +ves with current year PE 21.7x falling to
17.6x 2016. MACD looking to cut downwards with RSI at 72.
Take
profits with Buy back levels around the 5.00
