Stock
has been an outperformer in the sector gaining some 28% over 10 weeks ago and
have topped at strong resistance of RM2.25. YTD the share price gained 41% vs
the KLPROP index which only gained 31%. The rise in share price was closely
linked to the Seri Tanjung Pinang Phase 2 project (RM25bn – 30bn GDV) that
has received approval-in principle to start its reclamation work for a 760
acre land in Tanjung Tokong. No solid timeline for the project has been given
and the next news flow that would excite the market would be 2-3 months from
here. MACD turning down; RSI 63%. Suggest a Trading Sell on counter given the
weak market condition as well as the property sector. Start accumulating
around the RM2.06 (38% retracement level) & RM2.00 (50% retracement).

Share price fell 3% yesterday
along with a decisive volume of 7mil. We believe this is an opportunity to
enter the stock as it is the best proxy to public infrastructure capex in
Malaysia, given its dominant role in the KVMRT. Gamuda is likely to clinch
for another tunnelling package and PDP appointment for MRT2 due to its
familiarity on the project coupled with positive feedbacks from clients and
authorities. At this price stock is trading at about 18x PE and only 15x for
FY14 PE vs 7-year average of 21x. MACD still in negative territory, RSI is
only 30%, Immediate support is at RM4.55 (100 days MA). BUY on weakness with
a TP of 5.20 based on 21x PE FY13 & 16X FY14 PE. (RL)
