1) The KLCI saw
sideways trading before closing flat as it shrugged off the higher US market
overnight after the Greece debt deal was back into a gridlock. Region bourses
were however, mostly higher today as HSI +1.39% led in gains as hopes of fresh
stimulus in the mainland boosted optimism, SHCOMP gained +0.87%, STI +0.18%,
NIKKEI +0.12%. Local market was dicey as TECHNOLOGY -1.01% index lost the most
grounds amid profit taking dragged by recent gainers UNISEM -2.41%, GTRONIC
-1.71%, INARI -0.86%. Market breadth was negative as losers beat gainers by 442
: 310. Futures closed at 1727 (7pts discount).

SCOMIES 0.0% RM0.37 - Scomi Energy Services Bhd's
Oilfield Services division has secured contract worth USD71.4m (RM266.4m) in
the first five months of 2015, with Oman and Thailand markets contributing
USD33.0m (RM123.1m) each. The rest of the contracts were from Australia,
Indonesia, Russia and Pakistan, Scomi Energy said. These contracts involve the
provision of drilling waste management equipment and services aswell as
drilling fluids solutions to its clients in the Middle East, Asia Pacific and
Europe.
5) BINA PURI
Company has proposed a private placement that entails the
issuance of up to 24.23m new shares rep not more than 10% of the enlarged
PUC.Utilisation of the estimated RM12.1m raised will be as follows, working cap
RM9.8m, repayment of bank borr RM2m. The gearing after the proposed exercise
remains high at 2.82x or RM630m but this is back by a RM2bn order book and a
GDV of RM3bn. BOW.
