1) The KLCI tracked regionals lower, closing 6pts down after the ECB appeared to meet market expectations on further monetary easing. On the domestic front, Malaysia's exports unspurprisingly surged to RM75.8 bil in October,the highest year-on-year increase since January last year as exporters continued to enjoy the benefits of a weaker RM.  Region slipped lower ahead of the important US jobs data released later tonight as the NIKKEI -2.18%, SHCOMP -1.67%, HSI -0.81%, HSCEI -1.54%, ASX -1.46% closed lower. CONSTRUCTION -1.01% index lost the most grounds amongst the sectors weighed by PUNCAK -4.09% after it went ex RM1.00 Spec Div while SUNCON -2.77% and IJM -0.29% fell. Market breadth was negative with losers outpacing gainers by 424 : 347. Market futures closed at 1661.5 (6pts discount). MYR steady at RM4.2260.

4) Situational:-
DSONIC – 1.27% RM1.55 - Datasonic Group Bhd has secured a RM12.89mil contract from the Penang Municipal Council (MPPP) for the closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras on Penang island. The group would supply, install and maintain the CCTV under the phase four under the contract which begins on Dec 10 and ends on July 22, 2021. Trading BUY
 
PCHEM  +0.29% RM6.75 - Petronas Chemicals Group has awarded two contracts worth US$882mil (RM3.72bil) to build polyethylene and glycol processing plants to the Samsung group. It told Bursa Malaysia on Friday that the contracts were given to the consortium of Samsung Engineering Co. Ltd, Samsung C&T Corp and Samsung Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd. PetChem’s unit PRPC Polymers Sdn Bhd awarded the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract for the linear low density polyethylene LLDPE worth US$305mil (RM1.3bil) to the group. Its other unit PRPC Glycols Sdn Bhd awarded a contract also to the group to undertake the EPCC of the ethylene oxide ethylene glycol plant estimated at US$577mil (RM2.42bil). PetChem said the two contracts would start on Dec 23 and were expected to be completed by April 2019.
 
5) Huayang
HuaYang entered into a conditional Shares Sales Agreement with Phuah Cheng Peng and Ng Kok Kheng to acquire its entire paid up share capital of G Land Development Sdn Bhd.  Upon completion of Proposed Acquisition 1, wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, GLDSB shall entered into conditional Sale and Purchase Agreement with GIM Standard Development Sdn Bhd for the purpose of acquiring 6 parcel of freehold land  at JalanBaru, Prai, Daerah SeberangPeraiTengah, PulauPinang  for a total cash consideration of RM25,000,000.00, equivalent to RM66.80 psf . The company is proposing thedevelopment of serviced apartments, condominiums and shop offices with an estimated GDV of RM311.0m  
+ve as the company remains on track to build its land bank for future developments.
