picked up yesterday with MACD on the verge of cutting up as we see further
upside should share price clear above RM1.55. MRCB has approved merger with
Nusa Gapurna (NG) today despite being sued to stop the deal by PKNS hence we
believe the recent selldown from RM1.80 is unjustified. Current level is
close to the shares issued to NG at RM1.55. Near term catalyst includes 1)
announcement of ex dates for its 1 for 3 free warrants to exisiting
shareholders 2) being front runner as a master developer of the RM10b Sungai
Buloh RRI 3) resolution of long-standing EDL issues. Buy with TP: RM1.80

Share
price currently trades near its all-time high of RM6.85 which is +2 SD above
the mean. We believe a SELL into strength call is appropriate after it
reported weaker than estimated 1Q earnings in May while ROE has been
gradually falling from 17% in 2011 to just 13.5%. Although KPJ has plans for
3 new hospitals in Pasir Gudang, Sabah, and Muar, forecasted net profit
growth is only at 7.8% translating into Estimated PEG of 2.4. Regional
hospitals have seen pullbacks from its highs in May with forward PE forecast
of 26x. SELL with TP: RM6.11 (26xFY13PE)
