1) KLCI dipped to low of 1775.11 (-10.64pts) at opening
before swiftly recovering and trade rangebound near overnight levels as US
fiscal stalemate continued to weigh on investors sentiments in a relatively
light trading day due to holidays in HK and Tokyo. China trade data also
disappointed with export falling 0.3% and CPI rising 3.1% in Sept exceeding
2.8% consensus. Losses were paced by ASX-0.44% and STI-0.33% while SHCOMP
gained 0.43%. Trading volume were led by
HUBLINE+9%, XDL+9% and MALTON+5% with market breadth turning negative with
decliners outpacing advancers by 419:309. Futures closed 1789.5 (5pts premium)

4) Situational:-
FGV unch RM4.25: Company proposed to acquire 51% in Felda
Holdings Bhd (FHB) from Koperasi Permodalan Felda Malaysia Bhd (KPF) for a
purchase consideration of RM2.2 billion. The purchase consideration will be
funded by a combination of Initial Public Offering proceeds and borrowings.
5) K JETSON
Kumpulan Jetson Berhad announced that Jetson Construction
Sdn Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jetson, had accepted an award from
Clearwater Capital Development Sdn Bhd, who had been awarded a contract of
RM90,564,472.00, to jointly perform, undertake and carry out the proposed main
building works of a 20 storey service apartment in Johor Bahru.
