has opened opportunity to accumulate Sime at attractive levels as this
represent prices not seen since late 2012. Group’s recent restructuring
strategy of selling its small healthcare specialist centre in order to fund a
potential JV with an Australian healthcare player is part of management’s
effort to concentrate on a few core key businesses and improve ROE. Its
diversified portfolio will also help cushion the impact of lower CPO prices
that the sector is currently experiencing. MACD just cut below, RSI at an
oversold position signaling a safe level to buy. Trading BUY. TP 9.50.

(RM6.50) – The stock has been on a bearish trend this year after its SMA 50
crossed decisively below SMA 200 in mid Jan. Recent run has opened an
opportunity to continue to trim this position. Current technical indicators
show that the stock is overbought as the RSI at 69%
and MACD has begun turning downwards. Competition in the HP space remains
fierce reflected in the lower margins for all players in the recent set of
results. Current dividend policy remains vulnerable as it is largely
funded by gearing on its balance sheet. Trim with a potential break down
below recent low of RM6.21.
