After securing RM800m
worth of contracts last mth, its JV with GKent has been reported to be
the front runner for the PDP role of the RM9b LRT3 project which is exp
to be awarded soon. This PDP concept is similar to MRT1 &
MRT2 where the JV will receive
a 6% fee on total work package. MRCB is also tipped to win the RM1b
National Sports Complex & Bukit Jalil Stadium refurbishment
job. Current valuations are attractive vs 5-yrs average - p/b 0.91x vs
1.5x, FY16 PER 15.8x vs 32.3x. Macd has just cut upwards
& is above immediate resistance of 1.14. Buy TP: RM1.35

Stock is at an
attractive level to accumulate - the 5th wave correction from
a 5.30 Feb'15 high & trading near support of 4.58-4.55. Coupled
with +ve newsflow from 3 key catalysts in the current &
next few qtrs as follows: 1) the award of the PDP for the RM27b
Penang Transport Master Plan of which Gamuda was tipped to have won after
being one of the final two shortlisted; 2) the resumption in negotiations for
40%-owned SPLASH after the breakthrough in the water gridlock between the
State & Federal govts; & 3) being the PDP for MRT2, the
MMC-Gamuda JV is in the driver's seat for the RM12b tunneling package.
