We continue to like Huayang’s prospects to remain focus on the
resilient affordable housing segment and would be even more attractive should
BNM relaxes loan requirements for 1st time home buyers which
property companies have been tabling for leading up to the budget 2016.
Moving forward, the group will continue its land banking activities (with
gearing down to 0.49x) while launching its up and coming project in Puchong
Wests (RM1.35bn) in 2h of the year. Currently trading at only FY16 of 4.3x PE
vs its average of 6x. div yield of 7.2%. Share price is also trading at a
huge discount (49%) to its RNAV of RM3.50. We think it’s timely to accumulate
Huayang now as Shr price currently on the top range of a Bollinger squeeze;
MACD turned up and pending golden cross. Breakout neckline above RM1.82 with
a potential 22cents upside. BUY.

Currently trading at attractive valuation of
9x for FY16 and 7.6x for FY17 vs a 7 year average of 15x; P/b only 0.35x. We
expect earnings to see a substantial boost in its primary divisions in 2h as
we expect orders to normalize towards the end of the year as housing starts
seasonally picks up in the beginning of May; group will also benefit from 1)
weaker USD 2) rising log prices and 3) rising CPO prices. Earnings growth
will also come from Japan's aggressive monetary
& fiscal policy are expected to translate into improved demand for
plywood. Chart formed a bullish flag pattern with a breakout neckline of
RM1.05 with a 15cents upside. Trading BUY with an immediate TP of RM1.20.
