& manufacturer of unsaturated polyester resins, Luxchem's customers are
the rubber glove makers hence benefiting from the robust volume
growth in the industry as seen from the solid 2Q15 results where
core PBT increased by 104% from increased sales volume & gross
profit margin expansion. Trading at annualized PER of 7.73x vs 3-yr
historical average of 9.35x, Luxchem is a buy with a target
price of RM1.35 (annualized 9x PER).

The forthcoming reporting 1 or 2 quarters’
sales volume are expected to normalize after the 1Q15 stock piling
ahead of the GST implementation in April '15, hence impacting sales volume.
Coupled with the expected additional 14% capacity increase in Peninsula
Malaysia until FY16, Larfarge will face persistent pricing pressures over
these 2 years. Valuations are also stretched with forward PER at 25.0x &
p/bk of 2.65x vs 3-yrs average forward PER of 20.5x & p/bk of 2.47x. For
exposure to 11MP & infrastructure play, switch to cheaper contractors
like Suncon (PER 11.2x) & Gamuda (PER15.5x) who are the early
