The decision by Petronas to novate
five LNG new builds that come with time-charter agreements has restored
investors’ confidence on the relationship between MISC and Petronas. Possible
higher div payout ratio with improving balance sheet. Technically, counter
has consolidated ard these levels for the past 2mths with a possibility of MACD
cutting back up and for the counter to retest recent highs of RM9.50.

Heading towards its 4yr low of RM8.24 after
disappointing 3Q numbers and lower KPI guidance. At these levels we feel that
market has discounted the negative news flow with possible rerating catalyst
coming from forecasted El Nino effect this year impact on CPO prices plus new
angle in the property division based on Malaysian Vision Valley project under
the 11th Malaysian Plan. The project covers 108,000 ha, spearheaded by the
private sector, with an estimated GDV of RM640bn over 30 years. Accumulate with an initial target of RM9.30
