The
stock has gained 26% in the past two months after being sold down from its
cash raising exercise. In that time it has also managed to secure further
contacts bringing total wins this year to RM990m or 76% of it guided target
of RM1.3bn however muted property sales has also led management to revise
down sales by 10% to RM584m. Technically RM1.50 remains a challenging
resistance and we recommend a sell into strength at this juncture with a buy
back target of RM1.33.

With
results already affected by slowing Proton sales, bottom line is likely to be
further hit as management ann recently that they will no be hiking prices and
instead absorb rising cost from the weaker RM. Negative news flow on VW from
the US will also not help its push for higher assembly volumes in this
marquee. Earnings buffer from property sales is not likely to materialize
given the weak market sentiment with earnings reliance on the concession and
service sectors. Investors should take the renewed interest in the company from
M&A talks in 70% owned Bank Muamalat as an opportunity to lighten up
positions with a downside target of RM1.28
